Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Srinagar
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. On arrival, check in at hotel / houseboat. Later in evening enjoy 01 hrs shikara ride in the lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Overnight stay at Hotel / Houseboat.

Day 02: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After Breakfast Tour to the Srinagar city. Check in at houseboat, In the afternoon leave for Sightseeing of famous Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar, and Cheshmashahi). Enroute to Hazratbal Shrine & Nigeen Club located on the bank of Famous Nigeen Lake . Evening Shikara Ride on dal lake Upto 1 Hour.
Nishat Garden : Located on the bank of the Dal Lake, with the Zaberwan Mountains as its backdrop, Nishat Bagh is a garden of bliss that commands a magnificent view of the lake beneath the snowcapped Pir Panjal mountain range that stands far away to the west of the valley. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Noor Jahan.
Shalimar Garden : The Shalimar Bagh is the celebrated royal garden of Kashmir. The Emperor Jahangir was so fascinated with the garden that he called it “one of the sights of Kashmir.”
Shalimar Bagh is located on the northeast side of Lake Dal, approximately fifteen kilometers away from the center of Srinagar. It was laid out by Jahangir as Farah Baksh (“the delightful”) in 1619, while he was founding the city of Srinagar.
Cheshma Shahi : Cheshma Shahi ( the royal spring), also called Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mugal Gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mugal Emperor Shah Jahan , in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor‘s house) overlooking Dal Lake.

Day 03: Srinagar – Pahalgam (95 Kms / 2:30 Hours)
Post breakfast, head to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs above sea level (Valley of Shepherds). A picturesque valley around 97 Kms South of Kashmir. The valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams and imposing snow peaks. Enroute visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag Sulphur spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley.Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 04: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing
Post breakfast, Visit Betaab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley in Pahalgam (Direct payment basis).
Betaab Valley : is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.
Aru Valley : Aru is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder river.
Chandanwari : Chandanwari is situated 16-km from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge.
Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (150 Kms / 4:30 Hours)
Post Breakfast head to Gulmarg (2730 Mtrs Above sea Level) (“Meadow of Flowers”) via Tangmarg. Gulmarg has one of the most beautiful summer and winter Ski resorts in the valley and also world Highest 18 Hole Golf Course, (Gulmarg was Discovered in 16th Century by a famous Kashmiri Poet). Gulmarg is known for its “Gondola Cable Car,” one of the highest cable car in the world. A journey to the hill station of Gulmarg is incomplete without experiencing a fabulous Gondola Cable Car Ride (To be done on Direct Payment Basis), one of Asia’s highest cable car projects. The entire ride consists of two phases – Gulmarg to Kongdoori, approx. 9 minutes and Kongdoori to Apharwat Peak approx. 12 minutes. The cable ride is worth trying as it offers unbeatable panoramic views of Gulmarg from 10,000 feet, truly a surreal experience and also photographic delight for a lifetime.. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 06: Gulmarg – Srinagar & Sightseeing
Post Breakfast, We will spend the Morning in Gulmarg, going for some small tours around the meadow and later drive back to Srinagar. Afternoon, reach Srinagar. Enjoy Local Sightseeing of Srinagar, later in evening, Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Overnight Stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 07: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 Kms / 02:00 Hours)
After breakfast leave for Sonamarg (2800Mtrs Above sea level), for a Day trip the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side.
Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the “Thajiwas Range Mountains”. You can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg, by Local Taxi Or Pony Ride (on your own Expenses), where snow remains round the year, the major attraction at Sonamarg in summers. It is also a Gateway of Leh – Ladakh. Evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 08: Departure transfer to Airport
Post breakfast in morning, time to say goodbye to Kashmir. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last minute shopping in the city center. Later, drop at Airport for further journey back home.
Tour ends with happy memories.

    Day 01: Arrive at Jammu & Drive to Katra (55 kms. / 2-3 hrs)
    On your arrival in Jammu, you will be welcomed by our representative. From the station / airport it is a minimum of 02 hrs drive to the holy town of Katra. We will drive on the outskirts of the Jammu city and traverse across the Trikuta hills to eventually arrive in Katra and check in at the hotel for our overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

    Day 02: Katra | Mata Vaishno Devi Temple
    After breakfast in morning, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. The ascent is good and you will be meeting a lot of co-pilgrims on their way up. Situated at a distance of 14 kilometers, the pilgrimage will take a whole day coming and going which also includes brief stops for rest. An alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, ponies, palkis & helicopter. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple. Now a ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairo Temple.
    After paying your obeisance in front of the deity, you will trek downhill and reach your hotel for a welcome period of rest and relaxation. Overnight in hotel.

    Day 03: Katra – Pahalgam (255 kms. / 7-8 hrs)
    Post breakfast, journey towards Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds). The route traverses through the picturesque mountain resort of Patnitop where we stop for a brief rest over a cup of tea / coffee. From Patnitop we will drive to Ramban that also serves as our next stop for lunch. From Ramban we will drive to Banihal and enter the 2.5 kilometer long Jawahar tunnel that connects the valley of Kashmir with the rest of India. We will emerge from the other side to a warm sunny afternoon and continue our drive towards Pahalgam. On arrival in Pahalgam, we will check in at the hotel and stay there for the night. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

      Cheshma Shahi : Cheshma Shahi ( the royal spring), also called Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mugal Gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mugal Emperor Shah Jahan , in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor‘s house) overlooking Dal Lake.

      Day 08: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 Kms / 02:00 Hours)
      After breakfast leave for Sonamarg (2800Mtrs Above sea level), for a Day trip the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side.
      Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the “Thajiwas Range Mountains”. You can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg, by Local Taxi Or Pony Ride (on your own Expenses), where snow remains round the year, the major attraction at Sonamarg in summers. It is also a Gateway of Leh – Ladakh. Evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel.

      Day 09: Departure transfer to Airport
      Post breakfast in morning, time to say goodbye to Kashmir. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last minute shopping in the city center. Later, drop at Airport for further journey back home.

        Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardong Pass. Khardoong La is the Highest Motorable Road in the World & the Pass also has a small Cafeteria which boast itself as the highest Cafeteria in the world. We Arrive in Nubra by Early Afternoon. After Some Relaxation in our Rooms we Proceed to Hunder Sand Dunes and Enjoy and Exciting Camel Safari (Own Arrangement).

        Day 04: Nubra Valley – Excursion to Turtuk & Pakistan Border :

        After a relaxed Breakfast we Check out and proceed deep into the Nubra Valley .Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010)is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. We will visit the Zero Point where the Indian Army has set up a viewing Point to see Pakistan Side. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan , you may also be able to see the Pakistan Posts . After a quick visit to this village and a Royal House we return to Hunder . Overnight Stay at Nubra Valley.

        Day 05: Nubra Valley (Local Sightseeing) and proceed to Pangong Lake via Shyok/ Wari La (160 Km / 6 Hrs one way):

        Day 01: Leh Airport to Leh Town (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

        Arrive in Leh Airport,Transfer to the Hotel. This is a free day for you to acclimatize for High Altitude. Around late evening we shall have a Briefing by the Tour Leader. Overnight Stay at Leh.

        Day 02: Sham Valley (75 km / 2 hrs) & Local Leh:
        Meal:- Breakfast & Dinner
        Drive on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Visit: the Hall of Fame, Kali Mata Temple,Stok Monastery ,Indus View Point , Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Confluence of River Zanskar & Indus ( Sangam). We will then proceed back to Leh . Early Evening we step Out to visit the Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace , Leh Market along with Central Asian Museum. Overnight Stay at Leh .         Day 03: Leh to Nubra (135 Km/5 hrs), Camel Safari :

        Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardong Pass. Khardoong La is the Highest Motorable Road in the World & the Pass also has a small Cafeteria which boast itself as the highest Cafeteria in the world. We Arrive in Nubra by Early Afternoon. After Some Relaxation in our Rooms we Proceed to Hunder Sand Dunes and Enjoy and Exciting Camel Safari (Own Arrangement).

        Day 04: Nubra Valley – Excursion to Turtuk & Pakistan Border :

        After a relaxed Breakfast we Check out and proceed deep into the Nubra Valley .Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010)is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. We will visit the Zero Point where the Indian Army has set up a viewing Point to see Pakistan Side. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan , you may also be able to see the Pakistan Posts . After a quick visit to this village and a Royal House we return to Hunder . Overnight Stay at Nubra Valley.

        Day 05: Nubra Valley (Local Sightseeing) and proceed to Pangong Lake via Shyok/ Wari La (160 Km / 6 Hrs one way):

        After a relaxed Breakfast we Check out and after a quick stop over in the Deskit Market we proceed to the Deskit Gompa (Monastery). Later we depart towards Pangong Lake (14,500ft), through Shyok/ Wari La. We will arrive @ Pangong by Late Afternoon. Evening is spent around Pangong Lake and exploring the Area.         Day 06: Pangong to Leh (160km / 6 hrs) Shopping:

Enjoy beauty of the high altitude of the Lake, surrounded by grey and brown mountains, clean and dust washed. Count the waves washing the shores of the color changing Lake and be mesmerized by the different shades of blue from Azure to Navy Blue. Later, drive back to Leh by the same route. O/N Leh.

        Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

        • 30 or more days before departure: 25%
        • Between 20 to 29 days before departure: 50%
        • Between 10 to 19 days before departure: 100%
