ITINERARY IN DETAILS
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Half Day City Tour
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture.
We will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the city center. You will have free time to relax after long flight.
In the afternoon, we will visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi. This is where all of the city’s biggest cultural and political events take place. We will take some photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Then we continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The temple was built in 1070, and the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
After visiting the temple, we will walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, a picturesque lake in the heart of Hanoi. The lake is home to a number of temples and pagodas, and it is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. We will then take a leisurely walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shophouses. The Old Quarter is also known as “The 36 Streets,” as each street is named after the merchandise that was traditionally sold there.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc – Hoa Lu – Hanoi (B) – SIC Tour
Have breakfast at hotel. At 06:30am, you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarters. Get on the bus for your journey to Ninh Binh, the ancient capital of Vietnam. The 90-kilometer drive south will take you through stunning countryside, where rice paddies stretch to the horizon and sometimes seeing water buffalo graze in the fields. In Ninh Binh, you’ll visit Hoa Lu, the site of the Dinh and Le temples. These temples were built in the 10th century to honor the Dinh and Le kings of Vietnam. They are famous for their beautiful wooden carvings. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip through Tam Coc, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning landscape is home to towering limestone karsts that rise up from the lush green rice paddies. It’s been called the “Halong Bay on Land,” and it’s easy to see why. Leisure cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through small villages with backdrop of a maze of limestone mountains. After your boat trip, you’ll drive back to Hanoi. Arrives at your hotel around 18:30-19:00. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise (B, L, D) – Shuttle Bus
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out. At around 8am, you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarters and transferred to Ha Long Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as recognized by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006.
Upon arrival at the Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome from cruise staff and complete the check-in procedure for the overnight cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending Dragon” bay, created by thousands of odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the Grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, pass floating houses, and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close proximity. Later in the afternoon, go back to the cruise and enjoy the cooking demonstration before having dinner. In the evening, attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.

– Please note: The guests will self-transfer to the pick-up point if your hotel is outside the Old Quarters. The program may be a little varied depending on the cruise you choose. You will have stationed English-speaking guide on board. Only local/international food is available on cruise.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi – Flight after 18:00 to Da Nang (B, Br) – Shuttle Bus
You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast, our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent of Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise is coming back to the pier.
Disembark from the cruise, return to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Your driver picks you up from Hanoi and transfer to Noi Bai airport (without tour guide) for your flight to Da Nang city (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to check in hotel.
Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Da Nang – Cam Thanh Coconut Basket Boat – Hoi An Ancient Town – Da Nang (B) – SIC Tour
Have breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure till afternoon get ready for tour.
In the afternoon, the driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel.
Start your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut. As a fisherman at Cam Thanh Coconut Village, you will learn traditional fishing techniques and how to row unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the tranquil coconut palm waterways of the past. On this tour, we provide authentic social and cultural insight into the local way of life in Vietnam. Furthermore, you will take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe, interesting and suitable for everybody.
Then visit Hoi An Ancient Town. We take an interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly halls and enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old clubhouses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the lanes to see the rooftops of Hoi An – a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration.
Enjoy your time with the boat ride on the Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for the best of luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of lantern street.
Have special dinner with local food.
After that, return to your hotel and overnight in Da Nang.
Day 6: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge – Da Nang(B) – SIC Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Da Nang at 07:00-08:00. We will transfer to Ba Na Hills, a French-inspired hilltop resort. We’ll take the iconic cable car, which has been awarded 5 world records, to the Ba Na Hills station. From the iconic Golden Bridge, we can admire the lush vegetation and rich terrain of the Truong Son Mountains, which stretch to the East Sea. Just a few steps away from the village is the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-high Buddha statue. The pagoda’s impressive facade is a testament to traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, we’ll head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that are perfect for photoshoots. The tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House…
Later in the afternoon, conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Enjoy the panorama view of Da Nang City and Da Nang Bay. Go downhill by cable car and return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach feeling.
Overnight in Da Nang.
– Please note: Wax Museum entrance fee (USD 5/pax), Debay Wine Cellar entrance fee (USD 5/pax for Silver ticket, including 1 glass of wine, or cocktail, or fruit juice), coin games at Fantasy Park are not included in the entrance ticket, joining them will be at your own account.
Day 7: Da Nang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport (without tour guide) for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival, you will be picked up and drive to hotel (check-in time is 14:00/15:00). Enjoy your free time and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City – City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B) – SIC Tour
Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum, the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at guests’ own expense). Return to hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Flight to Phu Quoc (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure until check out time and transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) for the short flight to Phu Quoc Island (air tickets excluded). Upon arrival at Phu Quoc, you will be picked up by local driver (no guide) then transferred to the hotel (check-in time is 14:00/15:00). Rest time of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 10: Phu Quoc – Vinpearl Safari – Vin Wonders – Grand World (B) – No Tour Guide
Breakfast at Hotel.
This morning, we transfer to discover a fascinating world of animals at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, the largest wildlife conservation park in Vietnam and the only one of its kind (semi-wildlife) in the country. Hop on our buses and enjoy a fantastic tour through the 380-hectare safari free of enclosures. See wild animals through a pane of glass while animals enjoy their natural habitats. Here you can also admire many interesting animals shows here.
– Please note: The Safari closes daily at 4:00 PM. The bus ride in the Safari zone is included in the entrance ticket. However, the shuttle bus in the Zoo zone is optional and not included in the entrance ticket. Should you wish to use it, there is an additional charge of USD 5 per person.
This afternoon, we discover Vin Wonders Phu Quoc – the largest theme park in Vietnam. The park has a size of nearly 50 hectares, built with 6 subdivisions and 12 unique themes that offer visitors captivating stories, unparalleled adventures and thrilling games. For those who love water park, the Typhoon World promises endless fun and a series of water games, including the 2 largest slides in Vietnam, where we can dive into the refreshing waters to unwind.
Later, visit Grand World Phu Quoc. With a scale of 85 hectares, the area owns splendid and magnificent architecture which is inspired by the European cities. Venice River, or Lake of Love, is considered one of the best imitations of the original river in Venice City, Italy. Here, you can choose to sit on the gondolas (at your own cost) along the river to watch the romantic scenery created by a lot of sophisticated buildings. Families with children can also visit Teddy Bear Museum – inspired by The Indiana Jones movie, with more than 20 zones to observe giant or cute bears from all continents since ancient times (entrance ticket at your own cost). Remaining time is to visit other attractions in Grand World such as Bamboo House, Urban Park, or Beach Square, all are ticket-free. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 11: Phu Quoc – 4 Islands Exploration by Canoe & Cable Car (B, L) – SIC Tour
After breakfast, at around 08:00 AM pick up by SIC guide and vehicle from your hotel and transfer to An Thoi harbor where you will embark on the canoe for an islands tour. You will pass by 12 small islets and spend time visiting 4 biggest islands of Phu Quoc including:
Mong Tay Island (or May Rut Ngoai), known as the miniature Maldives of Vietnam on the island, with unspoiled beauty, jade blue sea and long, smooth white sand beach.
Hon Gam Ghi Island (Dam Ngang) or Hon Bom, you can relax in the blue water, snorkel on the coral reefs, and contemplate the interesting rock formations.
May Rut Island with white sand lagoon – a unique place to chill out and check in with Bali bird’s nest, heaven’s ladder, ocean net bed, sun ring.
During the visit, if you are a fan of the colorful coral reef, you can experience sea-walk exploring the coral park with 250 different species of creatures together with the large corals reef that are preserved nowadays (at your own expense).
Afternoon, speed boat arrives at Thom Island where we enjoy the buffet lunch.
After that, spend time at Theme Park and Water Park. By end of the afternoon, embark on Hon Thom cable car (about 25 minutes) across the ocean. During the journey of nearly 8km, freely enjoy the scenery, enjoy the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc from above, record the beautiful moments of the famous in-the-earth paradise in Vietnam. Drive back to our resort to relax. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Optional tour: Kiss Bridge – Sunset Town (No Guide) – with supplement
After returning from the cable car, the shuttle bus will drop you off at Sunset Town, located at the southern of Phu Quoc Island. Also known as the “Mediterranean Town” of Phu Quoc, Sunset Town is one of the island’s most popular check-in destinations.
Upon arrival, say goodbye to your tour guide and group. You will then have free time to explore Sunset Town at your own pace.
The complex features stunning architecture inspired by famous landmarks from around the world, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Ruins of Pompeii, the Colosseum, and the iconic Kiss Bridge.
In the evening, our private transfer (without a tour guide) will pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
Day 12: Phu Quoc – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure until check-out, and transfer to the airport with a driver only (no guide) for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
