ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour
Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in (the standard check in time is 14/15:00).
Depending on the flight schedule and arrival time, you will enjoy a half-day city tour either in the morning or afternoon. The tour features some of Hanoi’s most iconic cultural and historical landmarks, including Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside visit on Mondays, Fridays, and afternoons), the One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, beautifully located on the shores of West Lake.
Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake, the symbolic heart of the capital, and learn about the legend of the Returned Sword. The tour concludes with a stroll through Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter, where visitors can experience the city’s unique blend of history, culture, architecture, and local daily life. Return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise (B, L, D) – Shuttle Bus
After breakfast, check out and depart Hanoi for Halong Bay in a shared shuttle bus. The scenic drive takes approximately 3.5 hours to reach this UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its emerald waters and thousands of limestone karsts.
Upon arrival, board your luxury cruise and enjoy lunch while sailing past a breathtaking seascape of towering islets, hidden beaches, and cave formations. In the afternoon, join optional activities such as visiting grottoes, swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing and watching the sunset from the deck.
Enjoy local Vietnamese cuisine for both lunch and dinner on board.
Overnight on the cruise in Halong Bay.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi – Flight After 18:00 to Ho Chi Minh (Br) – Shuttle Bus
You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast, our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent of Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Early lunch/brunch will local food will be served on board.
Afterward, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. If there’s time before your airport transfer, you may relax in the lobby or take a walk for some last-minute shopping.
Depending on your flight schedule (recommended flight after 18:00), our private car (without tour guide) will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L) – SIC Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up from pick-up point in District 1 at 07:30-08:00 am. Take the morning city tour to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only) built between 1877 and 1883, the historic Central Post Office – one of the city’s major landmarks. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical attractions in Ho Chi Minh. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War.
Have lunch (set menu) with Vietnamese food at a local restaurant.
Afternoon drive to Cu Chi Tunnels: the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle (at guests’ own expense).
Return to Ho Chi Minh later in the day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh (B, L) – SIC Tour
Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up from pick-up point in District 1 at 07:30-08:00 am. Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch (set menu) with Vietnamese food at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City late in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Morning/Afternoon Flight to Phu Quoc (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure until check out time and transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) for the short flight to Phu Quoc Island (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival at Phu Quoc, you will be picked up by driver then transferred to the hotel to check in. Rest time of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 7: Phu Quoc – Vinpearl Safari – Vin Wonders Theme Park (B)
Enjoy a full day exploring three of the most popular attractions in northern Phu Quoc.
Start the day at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s first open-zoo safari park. Here, visitors can experience the unique safari bus ride through open habitats where animals such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roam freely, as well as enjoy animal shows and interactive activities.
Continue to Vin Wonders Phu Quoc, one of the largest theme parks in Vietnam, featuring exciting rides, themed zones inspired by world civilizations, a large aquarium, and various entertainment shows suitable for all ages.
End the day at Grand World Phu Quoc, a lively entertainment and shopping destination known as the “Sleepless City.” Stroll along colorful streets, explore boutique shops and cafés, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere along the Venice-style canal.
This full-day tour offers a perfect combination of thrilling entertainment, wildlife discovery, and cultural experiences, making it one of the highlights of a visit to Phu Quoc.
Note:
– The Safari closes daily at 4:00 PM. There are two main areas inside: – The Safari zone – where guests ride a bus through open habitats while the animals roam freely outside.
– The Zoo zone – similar to a traditional zoo, where animals are in enclosures and guests walk around to view them.
– The bus ride in the Safari zone is included in the entrance ticket.
– However, the shuttle bus in the Zoo zone is optional and not included in the entrance ticket. Should you wish to use it, there is an additional charge of USD 5 per person.
– TRAM in Vin Safari or Vin Wonder is NOT included. In case you want to join this service., extra fee is on your own expense.

Day 8: Phu Quoc – Island Hopping by Canoe & Cable Car (B/L) – SIC Tour
After breakfast, at around 08:00 AM pick up by SIC guide and vehicle from your hotel and transfer to An Thoi harbor where you will embark on the canoe for an islands tour. You will pass by 12 small islets and spend time visiting 4 biggest islands of Phu Quoc including:
Mong Tay Island (or May Rut Ngoai), known as the miniature Maldives of Vietnam on the island, with unspoiled beauty, jade blue sea and long, smooth white sand beach.
Hon Gam Ghi Island (Dam Ngang) or Hon Bom, you can relax in the blue water, snorkel on the coral reefs, contemplate the interesting rock formations.
May Rut Island with white sand lagoon – a unique place to chill out and check in with Bali bird’s nest, heaven’s ladder, ocean net bed, sun ring. Have lunch on the island restaurant.
During the visit, if you are a fan of the colorful coral reef, you can experience sea-walk exploring the coral park with 250 different species of creatures together with the large corals reef that are preserved nowadays (at your own expense).
Afternoon, speed boat arrives at Thom Island where we enjoy time at Theme Park and Water Park. By end of the afternoon, embark on Hon Thom cable car (about 25 minutes) across the ocean. During the journey of nearly 8km, freely enjoy the scenery, enjoy the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc from above, record the beautiful moments of the famous in-the-earth paradise in Vietnam. Drive back to our resort to relax. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Optional Tour: Kiss Bridge – Sunset Town (No Guide) – With Supplement
After returning from the cable car, the shuttle bus will drop you off at Sunset Town, located at the southern of Phu Quoc Island. Also known as the “Mediterranean Town” of Phu Quoc, Sunset Town is one of the island’s most popular check-in destinations.
Upon arrival, say goodbye to your tour guide and group. You will then have free time to explore Sunset Town at your own pace.
The complex features stunning architecture inspired by famous landmarks from around the world, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Ruins of Pompeii, the Colosseum, and the iconic Kiss Bridge.
In the evening, our private transfer (without a tour guide) will pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
Day 9: Phu Quoc Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure until check-out, and transfer to the airport with a driver only (no guide) for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
– Normal check-out time at hotel is 11:00/12:00. Late check-out is not included.
